Comskil is licensed to lead Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) appraisals and to teach the Intro to CMMI course. Galina Knopman, Comskil's President, has twenty-three years of management consulting and software engineering experience with seventeen years focused on leading process improvement programs, training, and appraisals for organizations to help them achieve their business goals. She has led corporate benchmark teams in training and software engineering with Intel, American Airlines, and AlliedSignal Corporation. She is an SEI authorized lead for SCAMPI appraisals, as well as an authorized instructor for SEI’s Intro to CMMI course. Galina has participated on the SEI review board for the Software Capability Evaluation (SCE) course material, the Software Capability Correspondence Committee, the Integrated Product Development CMM review team, and the System Security CMM Steering Group and Applications Group. Ms. Knopman is a leadership coach and provides training and workshops for leaders and teams. She is a member of the International Coaching Federation. Recognition and Awards: Comskil is in the top 1% among all SEI partners for number of appraisals led. Comskil’s work has also received commendation from United States Defense Contracting Audit Agency (DCAA), and has received several awards and recognition from internal and external customers. Comskil staff have published internationally and have been guest lecturers at conferences, meetings, and corporate seminars. Ms. Knopman was voted a top ten speaker at SEPG 2008 and was honorary guest speaker at Brandeis University National Women's Committee.
